Celtic Academy’s Oireachtas Party with Scythian!

Come enjoy an evening of great entertainment!
Scythian, well renowned for their uplifting and fast paced music, will be playing at the IUE Hall on Woodman Drive on Friday, November 13th. Doors open at 6:30pm.  Tickets on sale now!  Prices are: pre-sale $10/adults, $5/children; at the door $13/adults, $7/children; under age 5 is free.  Call 937-256-6086, e-mail mjeviston “at sign” yahoo “dot” com or visit www "dot"celticacademy "dot" com for more information.

We are setting up another dinner at Bucca di Beppo's for Saturday, November 28th.  Please e-mail Liz Willis at zbet99 “at sign” gmail “dot” com if you would like to make a reservation.  Don't forget to order a gift card through our GLS Scrip Program so FOCA earns a percentage of your dinner price for our dancers!

BENEFIT CONCERT FOR BRUCE COMER :

     Everyone who knows Bruce knows that he loves a good party so that’s what we are giving him.  Please come and join us on November 20^th at Flanagan’s Pub for a night of great friends, great music with Dulahan, great fun and most of all to show our support and raise funds for Bruce and his family.  Music starts at 8:00pm and there will be a basket raffle, 50/50’s and dinner specials –all of which will go into a fund to directly benefit Bruce and his family.  Come early, meet some friends and have a tasty pork tenderloin dinner special before the show starts. 

     If you have enjoyed the Dayton Celtic Festival, the Gem City Feis, World Affair, various CA and K of C Fish Frys, or enjoyed all of the amenities at the CA studio then you have benefitted from Bruce’s hard work in his recurring role of the “go-to guy” or “the man behind the scenes.”  He’s the guy who builds the stages, fixes the roof, plans the layout and rigs or tweaks things so that they can get us through one more year.  Even if you may not know him personally the chances are that you have benefitted in some way from his efforts so please consider attending and giving generously at this event.
